We stopped by for lunch on our way home. I do not like grits because I never had a good experience with it but I gave this place a try and it was AMAZING. We got the burnt ends with grits, potato salad, and crispy ribs. That was super delicious! The portions are just right. Not too much. Not too less. Our waiter was really nice but he disappeared after taking our orders.

Solid smokehouse + Brewery. Stopped by for lunch this past weekend, and as expected, the place was packed. The main restaurant didn’t have patio seating (only the brewery next door did), so we ended up ordering takeout from the restaurant and eating it at the brewery’s patio. The brewery menu was smaller, so we mixed and matched between the two. Got the fried ribs from the restaurant and the brisket from the brewery. The brisket came in thick slices and it looked a bit dry at first. Thankfully, most pieces were juicy and tender. The ribs were just alright, a bit dry and too lean for my taste. My favorite thing was the mac and cheese. They topped it with a generous layer of cornbread crumbs, which added a light sweetness and crunch. Not exactly the glory item on a smokehouse menu, but it

We were looking forward to checking this place out during our trip to VT. They did NOT disappoint. Cucumber appetizer was amazing and we tried the "special" roasted carrot one as well. My wife ordered a blue burger (added bacon) and I had the fried chicken sandwich. I told Cullen (our terrific server) that it was one of the best 🐔 sandwiches I've ever had. Duck fat fried are a "can't miss." Cocktails were also tasty. Just wished we had room for dessert as they had a chocolate chip skillet cookie that used bacon drippings rather than butter. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area. A+

GF celiac friendly! How is this only 4.5 stars? I was transported to the best bbq pork spots in the deep south. Somehow VT cheddar adds a lot to cheddar grits too. Excellent service as well.

Our experience at this spot was nothing short of amazing. It was a very unexpected find on our weekend girls trip. Our server Jake was an excellent addition to the experience with spot on recommendations, which all hit the spot!!!! Some highlights that we recommend are Vermont maple lemonade, and the bbq ribs are a must have. Thank you guys again for an unforgettable lunch.
