Washington Street Inn

The owner (Kathy) was delightful & welcoming. She showed my son & me highlights of the home + background information on various collectibles. |This is a nice, historic place 1 block from Downtown; very convenient w/ free parking— handy for a Street Fair visit or staying overnight near the hospital. |Only minor aside is the occasional sound of train horns & A/C vibrations in the Red room. |Other than that, we had a delightful stay at this welcoming home. Highly recommend for a local visit.

My dear sweet Kathy that owns the Inn. She is so nice and welcoming. We want to help her get through this tough time. Her place is so clean and she made us a wonderful breakfast. Please stop in here and make your stay here instead of hotel. We will be back. Loved our stay here. 20 STARS

I returned to Bluffton after close to 20 years away to lay our mother to rest.||Under these difficult circumstances Kathy provided a safe haven for both my brother and I as well as our wives, my youngest son and his fiance.||The Inn itself is beautiful with a rich history. Kathy does a great job of sharing that as well as of the town's.||Rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and filling and the baked goods a true treat.||Kathy was a gracious and engaging hostess. She was ably assisted by Rosebud the fat cat.||If we return to Bluffton it will be to here.

What a wonderful breakfast and chat with Kathy about the history of this home. So beautiful! We were only there for one night but it was restful and quiet. Had a lovely stay! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Kathy!

When compared to bed and breakfasts where we have stayed throughout the world, this B&B is among the best. Kathy, the proprietor, is very nice and accommodating and makes the best meals we have had. The home is very clean and filled with antiques and interesting artifacts. Her Christmas decorations are vintage beautiful. We recently stayed at a B&B in West Virginia that I would give 3 points to and for one night we paid almost as much as what we will pay for five nights at the Washington Street Inn. There are stairs but good railings and ample parking on the street and behind the Inn. I think people who are staying in other places close by should consider this Inn.
