Wardo’s Poboys

We stopped in recently on a Sunday and found this little cafe to be a gem. Very limited counter seating inside but right across the riverfront with benches and other places to sit. (If there was a dining room we missed it.) The wife ordered a shrimp poboy while I decided on a roast beef poboy. Both of them proved very good and the roast beef was nicely seasoned. We enjoyed our dinner and the location and got to watch the sunset on the river after.

Great food, nice folks! There are a few places to eat in Natchez, but I'm glad we chose this one. We sat at the bar in the kitchen area and had a lovely conversation with this nice lady. There is plenty of parking and good vibes. 👍🏻 I had the Junkin' with a side of slaw, and my husband had a roast beef with a bowl of gumbo. We took two pralines home for later. 😋

What a cool place! This was by far the best po-boy sandwich I have had. Fresh bread and super tasty! Heck, liked it so much I bought a sweatshirt with their logo stamped right on it.

Great food, freshest bread in the whole area! most delicious rib eye steak on the go! Friendly staff & chill atmosphere. One word; Gumbo! gotta love it most definitely gotta try it. Esta chagi mandagi

Nowhere near New Orleans PoBoys. They are sloppy juicy and full of flavor. Mine was so dry and mayo was not added and I think they found the skinniest PoBoy bread they could find. Roast Beef had a hunk of fat in it. I fed it to my dog, I could not eat it. The French fry’s were horrible, half burnt. My husband got a hot ham sandwich and his was dry also. I apologize that my review is not good but I just spent $60 on terrible food so I am upset. Photo is of fries and my poboy bread after I fed the meat to my dog.
