The Burn Luxury Inn

My daughter and I just spent one night in the Ernestine room at The Burn. . Nell checked us in and was the one that always answered the phone when I called to ask questions prior to check in. Nell is so nice ! very accommodating very informative and just a pleasure. . We enjoyed a glass of delicious sangria when we checked in. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and we got a tour of the house after breakfast. The owner of the home comes out to talk to everyone which I thought was very personable and highlighted the experience.. . The burn is in a great location and very close to downtown. My only negative is that there are no coffee makers in the rooms themselves however there is coffee Im the , the common space which accessible 24 hours a day to all guests

The rooms were wonderfully furnished and spotlessly clean -- a wonderful step back in history. This Antebellum home is a jewel. Our hostess gave us a wonderful tour and told us the history of the home. Breakfast was simple but nicely presented and tasty. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I had spilled some water in my car trunk and one of the staff brought out a towel to help me clean up my mess. I am amazed at how well this very old home has been maintained and furnished. The day was cold so we didn't try the inviting pool. I highly recommend this B & B.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at The Burn. The staff is very warm, friendly and welcoming. Nell will take great care of you during the day. Wahneta and JoAnn pamper you with a delicious breakfast which includes an awesome biscuit. Be sure to take the house tour that is offered after breakfast. There is a very nice pool and garden area for enjoying the outdoors. Very quiet location with plenty of on site parking. Our suite was very nicely furnished, very comfortable, and spotless. Because of mobility issues we needed the only downstairs room which is easily accessible from the car park without steps. However, once inside our room there is one step up into the large bath area. We were doing a "road trip" from New Orleans to Memphis, by way of the Delta and several blues festivals (Helena, Arkansas and Clarksdale, Mississippi) .... one of us having grown up in the Delta and the other having never been in the state. Our night at The Burn was perfect. Very comfortable room and amenities, excellent breakfast, fascinating tour of the house after breakfast, and delightful conversation with the owner. We would highly recommend!

You have to stay here! Both owners lovely, they homes are beautiful... They come in and talk to you and see how you are doing in the morning, breakfast is served at 9:00 ,the chef is really good , and the ladies which i forgot their names so lovely, we stayed for my husband and sister in law dbay weekend.. Great place for any type weekend or vacation...
