Great library that has things for all ages. There is a creation area as well as the library of things. The children's area has two bathrooms and they have a coffee station although you have to pay $2 a Keurig cup.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful experience in the children’s section! The children’s section at the Wallingford Public Library is absolutely beautiful. The decor is stunning and thoughtfully designed to appeal to kids of all ages. There are dedicated areas tailored to different age groups, which makes it welcoming for every stage of childhood. I especially loved the cozy nooks where children can play and let their imaginations run wild. It was lively with many families and happy kids — such a warm, vibrant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!

As a self proclaimed library connoisseur, this is definitely on my top 3 libraries I've been to. The place was huge, like a campus. I've only explored the children's section which is where I spend most of my time because of my toddler. They had clean family bathrooms. There was a book case shaped like a train and a little play train station. There was a baby section for them to crawl in; toys, play kitchen, and train table. I loved that there were little reading nooks built into the walls. In front of the librarian desk, there's a huge play tree where kids can go in it. On the side, a big craft room with blocks and magnetic tiles. They had a fish tank, a tank with worms/isopods, computers, and so much stimulation for the little ones. I'm sure they have great activities, events, and resour

I love this library! There's such a sense of community which is created by all the events that are hosted here. There's always something going on, so please check out the calendar! Also there's so much more here than just books and DVDs! There's a whole makers' space with a bunch of cool machines that are available for use, and even more that you can borrow!
