Vuelvo Cocina y Cantina

This place is a true gem right near my home. As someone from Cuenca, I can confidently say this is the only Ecuadorian restaurant in Wallingford that truly has level. The service was flawless, warm, and attentive. The mix of colors inside the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, creating such a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. And the food… simply delicious. The llapingachos were on another level, the morocho was comforting and authentic, and the famous canelazo was just perfect. I 100% recommend this place. I’ll definitely VUELVO soon!! 🇪🇨✨✨✅

Came here on a Monday prior to a show at the Oakdale theater nearby. We left with a good impression. Subgrades and justifications below: Atmosphere: 4/5 nicely decorated, nice color scheme (pastels on the walls and seating). pendant lighting over the tables was tasteful. unisex bathroom is large and clean, though they had run out of paper towels by the time we had left (a little odd because it was only 6:45PM at that point). It looks like the restaurant occupies what used to be 3 separate storefronts that they combined to make a single establishment. because of this there are lots of windows and natural light. It was chilly in the main dining area. Service: 4/5 Waiter was upbeat, attentive and quick. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 appetizers first, then the main course a few minutes later after

Food was amazing, service was professional and attentive. The atmosphere was intimate and great for a date night. There is plenty of room to bring your family with kids, as it is much larger inside that you expect. I will be coming back time and time again. Great addition to Wallingford

First time here and it definitely won’t be my last! The place is absolutely beautiful and a brand new restaurant that opened here in Wallingford. Lance was our waiter/ bartender. He made excellent and strong drinks! And the food was absolutely delicious! I’ll recommend this restaurant to everyone to give it a try!

Highly recommend coming here, the food was delicious, the servers were nice, the bartender made excellent drinks, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Great lighting and music. Will definitely go back!
