The food here was excellent. Ordered the bcb sandwich, carmel lattee, lemon basil pasta, and pomegranate limeade. Everything was terrific. Even when ordering ataff was very pleasant. Highly recommend this institution. I wish I would have take more photos of the food.

I came in on my way from NYC to Hartford and the reviews did not disappoint. The person at the front recommended the Crunchy Leaves and Sweaters sandwich which was excellent. The chips were good and she gave me a big cup of water as I was hesitant to buy a bottle. The ciabatta break was very good and the sandwich with brown sugar aioli, Gouda, spinach, chicken, and bacon was both unique and delicious. They were friendly and there was easy parking out front. I will 100% come back next time I’m in the area as it’s a large menu to try!

Wow! Popped in for a late breakfast bite and will definitely be coming back! I ordered the #7AM sandwich and it was AMAZING! All the ingredients taste fresh and were perfectly cooked. Also had a Chai latte with oatmeal and tasted 10 times better than anywhere else I've had it. Friendly and prompt staff was a plus. The place is also very clean and nicely decorated.

A few of my foodie friends put me on game regarding this place that's about a 25-minute drive for me, but always so worth it. Here's why I love it so much! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set in the center of Wallingford a little off of the main drag of Center Street is this humble gem. You can park on the street for free if there's space or in the plaza parking lot right up the block from them. Once in the door you're welcomed by several smiling faces and that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! This place is predominately made for takeout. In additional to their normal hours, The Eatery is now open Saturdays from 10am-2pm for the summer and I am SO happy! The workers are bubbly and inviting. The interior is bright, and although it does not have tables, they do have bench style seating inside and outside. There are some great seasonal specials to keep an eye out for. My mom tried the backyard BBQ sandwich and California salad, which she loved. I ordered the Chipotle Roast Beef Melt, but substituted the meat with chicken. Loaded with Cheddar and American cheese, chipotle aioli, grilled red onions, sweet pickled jalapeños on a grilled ciabatta. Will definently be back for another.
