Wailuku Public Library

Classic style library nearly a century old. Not a lot seems to have changed since it was built. I went in there recently and there was a performer playing slack guitar to a decent-sized seated audience, not the sort of thing one usually sees in the middle of a library. Nice to see such commitment to the community.

Did anyone know you can't use the computers at the library today fix your phone or anything you might need to download a program on even temporarily so all you can do is look up stuff online and watch movies all by the way you cameo on a phone computers are used for much more than that I bought a phone at a yard sale and the people couldn't remember the creds for it and had no clue what the for is so now because I don't know anyone with a computer I can't get my phone to work even though the process is basic and can't hurt the computer but wait the library has computers a whole lot of them that aren't even being used but I can't use them to fix my phone WHY??? none is even using these computers I'm here all the time I see noones using them but I can't use one to fix my phone I can't unders

Library is amazing. Staff unfriendly and old security guard locked me inside the building 1 minute after they closed and started humiliating me out loud. We were running late because my son needed to use the bathroom and a man was practicing taking a bath in the sink. He couldn’t get in there so finally I let him use the women’s. Can’t help but think the security could have been focusing on the real issue which was a person bathing at the sink. Rude!

Prior to moving back here to Ohio, I found this specific location to be great for printing promotional materials, land contracts and materials my tenants needed on the fly. My tax dollars are represented well here

My Favorite Library on Maui. Beautiful Building with an authentic feeling of being "back in the day". Not only because of the landmark status but Excellent Customer Service. Clean and a Good selection of new non fiction, movies & a vast selection of historical Hawaiian culture reads. Enjoy going. Hygiene Protocol A+
