Excellent burger, mid level service, and a bird man who really wants you to hold his birds. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it made for an interesting meal. The burger was seriously top notch. Perfectly cooked and beautiful to behold. Fries were solid, too. But the gal taking our order almost appeared to be angry at us. No smile, no thank you, couldn’t be bothered to answer questions or offer recommendations, didn’t give us napkins, didn’t offer ketchup or water…. like, didn’t even scrape the bottom of the barrel basics of customer service. Could’ve been an excellent experience. But it wasn’t.

I absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious we enjoyed every bite. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. What I also really appreciated was their flexibility. They were kind enough to do a substitution for me, swapping pork for beef in my dish without any hesitation. It made the experience even better.

Ula’Ula was phenomenal! I’m not a mac salad connoisseur by any means, but I’ve eaten at a few Hawaiian-owned restaurants over the years and will say this is by far the best Mac salad I’ve ever had. Basically life changing. It had so much flavor! I loved mac salad before but this is now the standard against which I will measure all future mac salads and unfortunately, I think I will suffer for this. I have seen the light and now I cannot unsee it. Thank you, Ula’Ula for this blessed curse. Apart from the food, the setting was beautiful, with palm trees and mountain views. We watched rain storm envelope the mountain and slowly drift toward us. We also ordered coconuts, which were delicious and rounded out what felt to me like a perfectly Hawaiian experience (along with the chickens runnin

Nice local spot near the municipal golf course. It was busy with only one person on the till and one person in the kitchen but we got our food relatively quickly (they give you a buzzer). I was confused as there was only a small menu to the left of the window that was hard to read and not as many options as other images posted here. I’m glad I looked at the menu posted online as it wasn’t on their “menu”, but it seemed to have worked (I like the “mini” options for plate lunches as the full option is way too much food for me!). Got the mini pork loco moco and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich and he said it was the best lunch he had all trip. Local kids jamming on the ukulele too, good vibes. Good spot (hopefully they post their full menu at the food truck soon?).

Made fresh while you wait. The fish nuggets were amazing! A fresh coconut cut open for you to drink and snack on.
