We had THE BEST smash burger here while visiting Lake City. We wish Wagon Wheel was in Boulder!!

Amazing find passing through Lake City, CO. Stop to go to a BBQ place and saw the food truck. Some locals said it was some of the best smash burgers. After some thought we decided to give it a try and to our surprise the locals paid for mine and my wife’s order. Oh and the owner was such a nice guy. Even came out to chat with our group for a moment and even took a selfie with us. The burgers were great! Don’t expect typical tomato and lettuce on a cheese burger. These had cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños, and a homemade sauce! Delicious!

The food here is some of best and affordable in town. The staff is very friendly and the outdoor seating always seems to be picked up and clean. The breakfast burritos are very yummy as well as the loaded hash browns. The Philly cheese steak is good as well. However hands down the best thing they have and is delicious regardless whether it is breakfast lunch or dinner is the Smash-burger. It is definitely the cornerstone of this lunch truck. They have done a great job here and they hope you stop by and say hi and grab some of that great food.

10/10 recommend wagon wheel feed co WOW! Best smash burgers we have ever had and our girls loved the grilled cheese. If you haven’t tried them out yet I highly recommend you do so!
