San Juan Soda Co

This place was a godsend for hungry thru-hikers! I loved all of the dessert options they had and the ice cream was delicious and fresh. The cutest part is that they were so hiker friendly and even had a special, massive sundae with a discount for CT/CDT hikers (must pass the “smell” test first!😉) This is a must stop if you’re passing through Lake City and craving a sweet treat!

Absolutely incredible!! I come camping annually and omg, we get ice cream here every single day of our 5 day trip. The ice cream is home made and juts PHENOMENAL!! I also adore their sorbet. They have so many unique and tradition flavors and even provide color changing spoons!! Here’s some photos, but I def recommend the key lime pie ice cream, salted caramel, pistachio, and pomegranate sorbet! But my fav is def the raspberry truffle!!

Went a few times while on Vacation this past week. Every flavor we tried was delicious. I highly recommend if you visit Lake city you add a stop to San Juan Soda Co.

First time in Lake City and was told you couldn’t forgo this spot. Boy were they right. The truly homemade root beer float was so delicious I had to come back later that day to try out the ice cream. Be sure and look at the fun flavor stats on the wall from previous years!

Ice cream's good. Service can be slow in the small town like that but Just wait your turn and they get to you. They have gift shop. I have a wonderful outdoor seating.. with dozens of hummingbirds everywhere because of all the flowers. Been going there my whole life. My favorite is mint chocolate chip in a cone.
