Waffle House

Five stars. And honestly, that’s underselling it. If Waffle House were a country, it would be the last free republic on earth. The coffee flows like crude oil in Texas, the grill sounds like a freight train hitting breakfast at full speed, and the staff runs the place with the quiet authority of people who have absolutely seen some things. We rolled in ready for a proper late-night breakfast and they delivered exactly what Waffle House is supposed to deliver. Whoever worked on saturday night/sunday morning at around 1:30 AM @this location, should rethink their career & life choices because I have never seen such horrible customer service. The older lady that was an employee was a sweetheart when she came to clean up our tables but to the others??? You all are too weak minded to be working there. We walked in, not one greeting was given, sat for 10-15 min and no one ever came to take our drinks orders. Instead, we got told to quiet down as we were browsing the menus because "they could not think". I've been a waitress before so I know what to expect when a 10-12 people group arrive in the middle of the night and it is nothing but quiet. So what should one waitress/waiter do? My family and I visit frequently for breakfast. The service is always cheerful and friendly and the food is good. It's a great place to start your day.

My family and I sat down and asked for coffee and water. We were told drinks only come out after food. Sat there and watched 5 sets of customers receive their drinks before their food. Been there multiple times. Will not be back. Talked to someone there when leaving and said they need to work on consistency. Its very poor service to tell us we have to wait for our drinks and yet serve multiple tables and other customers theirs. Never in my life have I been told that when dining out. There wasn’t fresh coffee being brewed as there was plenty of fresh coffee and water. But they made sure we paid for that coffee. I didn’t even drink mine… because I drink it BEFORE I eat. The service was the worst I've ever received at a Waffle House!! The gurl that waited on us was terrible. All she cared about was playing around with the cook. She couldn't even refill a drink. Go to another location if you want good service and food!!
