What an inviting place. They offer three different stay places that each have their own feel. The Barracks has the perfect tiny home feel for the older couple that is looking for ideas of serenity with the perfect blend of luxury and romanticism. Offers up digs such as a double tub and shower area built in a sauna style area that's so serene. Imagine soaking with a nice glass of wine with your favorite music in the melodic candle lit area. Cedar Oaks Inn is by far the best experience in Texas. It is an absolute paradise. The owners have curated everything in such a way that you never need to leave the comfort of the house, because it is better than anything around. From the beautiful pool to the outdoor bathtubs and showers, to the firepits and chimeneas, to all of the personal touches in the different houses, it is amazing. I recommend to everyone I know thats heading south.

Absolutely spectacular in every way! Pictures do not do the property justice; so much foliage, life, and charm at every turn. We came as a small group for a girl’s weekend and cannot wait to return and re-discover the magic here (there is so much to admire, and not enough time in a day to soak it all in!). The owners truly pull out all of the stops to make you feel at home, and Tonya’s breakfasts were stellar. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

A must see hidden gem on the outskirts of the city but close to all the seaside fun! The artistic design & ambience was unforgettable & the heavenly gardens were stunning. The owners were incredibly friendly & attentive while still honoring our privacy. If you need a break from the hustle of life… it’s a fabulous place. We will definitely be back in the future!

I don't usually leave reviews unless what I have experienced is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. For this, my experience was exceptionally Great! The property is gorgeous and so serene, the owners feel more like friends and the location is pleasantly surprising. We stayed in the Birdcage Saloon, the decor makes the experience and it's even more impressive when you learn it was all by Tanya's design. She has an amazing eye. There are no words that could accurately describe the feeling you get when you first arrive, the only thing I can think of that comes close, is breathtaking.
