Sesame House

Wonderful little restaurant in the Dickinson area! My husband and I shared the hunan shrimp and sesame chicken lunch special which came with the best wonton soup. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the right temperature. My 2 year old daughter loved the sesame chicken and egg rolls. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out quick! This has become a favorite regular spot for us and we’re going to miss it when we move out of state next month!

I wasn't impressed that much with the food. I had Beef and Broccoli (lunch) eggroll, fried rice and hot & sour soup. The portions were very small. The soup bowl was about half full. The entree did not fill up its small section in the to go carton. I didn't like the meat, it was tender but kind of had a wild taste. Rice and egg roll was just so so. The hot and sour soup was the best part of the meal and I will definitely have that again. Maybe I will try a chicken dish next time on the dinner menu. That way I will have enough for maybe a little left over and maybe the meat will be better. I will definitely try it again. Not going to rule out the restaurant until I try at least one more dish.

Very pleased! Egg roll was huge & very crispy! Food seemed to be made fresh to order. ‘Crab’ puffs were VERY good! Service was spot on and the interior was clean and inviting. Will definitely return. And we have!!! Never disappointed. This is some of the best Chinese food close to us in Galveston.

Sesame House has very good food with good sized portions of food. The inside of the facility is clean with plenty of seating. They offer a LARGE range of different foods. I recommend the wonton soup. DELICIOUS! The service was great as well. I would come back and recommend this place to my friends.

My husband and I are vegan and visiting the area for a workshop. We had trouble finding good food until we saw the listing for Sesame House. Our plan was to get 2 bowls of tofu pho and take it back to the hotel. But once we walked in and saw so many people dining, it clued us in that this food would be special! So we dined in and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal 😋 The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose items and food preparation that met our needs. We ordered tofu spring rolls, hot & sour soup (a first time for us both), black pepper tofu, and hong sue tofu. ALL DELICIOUS but our favorite was the black pepper tofu. Try them all 🤩🤩
