Vong Sushi Thai & Laos Cuisine

My husband and I have been frequenting this family restaurant for years, and I must say, I haven’t found a sushi place quite like theirs. The food quality and presentation are simply amazing, and the customer service is equally impressive. If you’re a sushi lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I loved you guys when you were Sakura Sushi in Albuquerque 15+ years ago. And I love you guys still. Absolute best sushi. This will always be my favorite place to go and you guys still aren't very far from where we live! Beautiful presentation and honestly some of the nicest people I've met. I will always be a loyal customer 💛🙂 Monster Roll will always be our favorite.

This place is SO GOOD. I have liked it since it was Thai Taste, but I have to say it has gotten even better since it's rebrand. The red curry is a favorite of mine and my fiancee loves the sweet and sour. I have heard the new chef is famous for his sushi and am looking forward to trying more of it when I am no longer pregnant. If you haven't tried it already, I highly reccomend it.

Update for 13 Dec 2025: We have dined in twice for since the rebrand (sushi lunch both times), but this time we got takeaway dinner and saw a familiar face - Greyson! He remembered us and even my usual order, and it was great to see him again. He's truly the best part of this restaurant - aside from the delicious food, of course! We got our Thai food fix and had happy tummies. Still love this place and the service so much! 21 Jan 2024: as always, delicious food and fantastic service! We tried new dishes as well as a dessert (see my new photos) and appreciated the attentiveness of their new wonderful server! Update for 19 Oct 2023: my takeaway order was perfection from start to finish! Greyson is the best, as usual, and my food was nothing short of scrumptious. I am never disappointed her
