Went for a duplicate Death Certificate, downloaded the form, filled it out presented it to the woman at the counter that answered my questions while we reviewed the form.She asked for my ID and form of payment and said “ It will be ready in about 5-10 minutes” How easy was that! 10 min later I was on my way, great experience!

The ladies here helped me and my husband get my birth certificate delivered to North Carolina. They went above and beyond to have it sent and delivered overnight. Thank you very much for being so incredibly helpful and polite!!

I had read the reviews posted that people had left about Vital Statistics. What I found was very polite, friendly and helpful ladies working there. I needed two different documents. The lady that came to the counter explained how to fill out the forms. She had to ask me a few questions to make sure I filled one of them out correctly. Although they were very busy I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent filling out the forms. Both of the ladies working in the office where great. The only problem I had was figuring out where to go into the building. There isn't a sign outside at least I didn't see one. Once I went in the building I saw a sign pointing the way.

I needed to aquire my daughters birth certificate, there wasn't a line however I did come directly after lunch time so I expected to wait a bit. Cheryl was incredibly polite, courteous and informative as her coworker whom does card transactions was about to come back from lunch. When her coworker, Andrea came back they very quickly got me on my way and both were extremely nice and apologized for my wait. I'm not sure if staffing has changed since prior reviews but my experience was grade A. These ladies definitely deserve recognition. :)

Been trying to get my daughters birth certificate for insurance coverage. Showed up at 3:45 after the office hours online and the front desk staff who walked me to the counter said they were open till 4. Got to the desk and was told they closed at 3:30, refused to help me and was incredibly rude. I’ve seen other reviews saying the same thing, so it just seems that the people back behind the counter are okay with lying. Excellent waste of my tax dollars and time. Hopefully the insurance will give us some grace so my daughter can be covered.
