Vanderwende’s Georgetown

Delicious ice cream with generous portions, friendly staff, nice space. They make the waffle cones in store… have to try next time.

I absolutely love this new ice cream shop in downtown Georgetown! It's such a cute little place, and while it looks tiny from the outside, there's plenty of room inside. The ice cream? Oh my goodness, it's Vanderwendes – a Delaware legend for a reason, it's delicious! And the staff are just the friendliest you'll ever meet. With reasonable prices, it's a fantastic addition to our downtown. Go check it out for some legendary local flavor!

I've been to Vanderwende's Greenwood location on Route 404, DE for years. The best ice-cream. Same quality at their Georgetown location plus great service too. Less crowded and lovely garden tables.

I’ve had ice cream from the Georgetown location several times now. The place is cute and clean, they offer a variety of flavors and styles, and the service is as sweet as the treats! Great addition to town!
