Visionarium Live Italian

Wow, this place is absolutely fantastic! My family and I are so thrilled to have them in South Pasadena. Every visit is a treat – the service is top-notch, the wine selection is wonderful, and the food? Simply exceptional! We love it so much that we've chosen to celebrate my mom's special 50th birthday here and are even renting out the upstairs patio. It's the perfect spot! And for anyone looking to bring a little authentic Italian flavor into their own kitchen, they even have a fantastic shop with incredible ingredients. We're so grateful for this gem!

This Italian restaurant is incredible in SOOOO many ways: the cuisine is creative and sumptuous as are their wines and specialty drinks. But what sets them apart is the music. We dined on the rooftop and were treated to the fantastic sounds of the Free Agents, a contemporary jazz quartet of skilled professionals who turned this into a magical experience as they played a wide assortment of jazz styles that filled the night’s sky with heavenly sounds. We see that the Free Agents are returning on Friday May 15th and we are encouraging all of our friends to join us at Visionarium that night for another amazing experience.

Went solo but felt like I was apart of something from the moment I sat down. Hostess took incredibly great care of me which I appreciated! Delicious and affordable italian food & an extensive wine list. Also, live music each night & it was fantastic! I’ll definitely be back!

Attended the rooftop jazz concert. Rooftop venue definitely has potential and will be returning to try out the wine bar! The good: Music was great! We only had drinks and those were great. Other people seemed to be enjoying their food. Love that they give you food/drink credit for the value of your ticket! Servers were quick and polite. Not so good: We weren't sure where to go or sit on arrival and we weren't the only ones. Atmosphere was nice, but way too crowded. Servers had a hard time just getting food to the tables and almost tripped multiple times. You have to get in line to order drinks/food and it took 30 mins to order from the time you step into the line, then you go back to your table and wait to be served. Event felt generally unorganized and needs work.

Visionarium is a fantastic and spotless place. I’ve eaten there several times and the food is always delicious, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The staff is absolutely amazing and makes you feel welcome every time. They also offer a great selection of excellent Italian wines, and the live music every night creates a wonderful atmosphere.
