These guys are GREAT! Anthony takes a lot of pride in what he does and it shows in everything they do. From delicious fresh handmade on the spot sandwiches 🥪 to soups, cheeses 🧀 and superior cuts of meat 🥩 they have it all. Anthony even takes the time to show you the difference between different grades of meat and even offers cooking suggestions. Nice job guys ❤️

Twas the night before Christmas, and we had just arrived in New Jersey to spend time with family. We needed a gammon (bone-in ham) joint for our December 26th meal, but no butchers were open or had what we needed. Despite this butcher shop being closed, the staff were still inside preparing to leave. They kindly opened the door and asked what we were looking for. Even though they had already cleaned their machines and the shop, they went out of their way to check their stock—and they found exactly what we needed. The ham was larger than what we were looking for, but because it was Christmas, they gave us a discount on the per-pound price and sold it to us after hours. The result? After more than 20 years of business with Violante Sr., I, along with several families and other businesses, have decided to cease all purchases from this establishment due to the disrespectful and arrogant behavior exhibited by his son, Anthony. It has become clear that he lacks regard for loyal customers and refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. After placing a nearly $100 order DIRERECTLY with him for hot italian sausage, we drove two hours to pick it up, only to discover that our entire order was incorrect. This incident is not isolated; we had previously overlooked similar issues, hoping for improvement. When we Kindly reached out to address the mistake, Anthony dismissively claimed, "I don’t make mistakes," "Thats your fault " & "You didnt tell me what you want".. if I did

This place is AWESOME! We had an Italian feast to go to and I wanted to bring something that they only make in the town in Italy. Anthony went Above And Beyond to make it! Tremendous customer service, amazing quality and flavor of the food! We had people stopping by to try them they were so good. I HIGHLY recommend Violante & Son for any meat, cheese, or Italian specialty you could ever want. We will be lifelong customers!
