Village Inn Chicken

First time coming here. Heard great things about it so we had to give it a shot. Never heard of Barberton Chicken… Not much flavor (it’s the style it’s meant to be like that) but very good! My boys loved the ribs and even more the ice cream machine! Wife loved her locally sourced steak! I had the chicken and it was great! Our server Holly was a rockstar go in and ask for her as she was very helpful in answering our questions! Will definitely go back we will have to try their specials!

One of the Saturday only specials is ribs. They fell off the bones. Some of the most tender ribs I've ever had. The owners make several items from their own recipes. They also own a butcher shop so all the meat is very fresh.

New to the area and never been. When on a fish fry Friday. Got a table quick on a busy night. Food and service was fast. Food was good for a local place. Hosts were a little brash. My other half did get splashed by the staff cleaning the table next to us. Will try again.

I was there for a small event (25-30 ish) so we had a buffet style meal for our group. The spicy rice and fries were really good. The coleslaw was good, but I prefer mine with mayo and this was vinegar based. To be fair, I'm not a fried chicken fan no matter where I go, so I can't really speak to the chicken; however, the place was packed so people must like it. My favorite part was the end with the self serve ice cream and chocolate sauce.

I used to come here with my grandparents when I was a kid. We visited here for the first time in ages. The food was decent for the money, but maybe not quite as good as I remember it being. Our waitress forgot about us. My wife had to flag down a different waitress for a drink refill. The soft-serve ice cream machine is a nice touch.
