Visited on a busy Friday night during Lent. Enjoyed the fish. Cozy atmosphere. Super nice owner -Charlie - even introduced himself and sat with us a bit. He has a great staff and everyone was really nice. Fun time. Only thing I’d change is the pirogies , old school homemade polish-type would be amazing. Either way- We’ll be back again!

Quaint little place. Not sure if it was part of so e organization. Definitely had moose or vfw vibes. The special burger was delicious! Fries weren't great and the pork chops were decent. For an off the road diner. Not too bad.

I attend a retiree luncheon at Houston Pup once a month. The buffet-style food and service are great for the very reasonable price charged. The coffee is plentiful and hot and we are not rushed out when we are done eating. If you are looking for a great place to get together with a few dozen friends, you can't miss.

Friday fish fry with a group of friends. Fish was good and crispy but pieces were smaller than other fish fries I have recently attended. Apple sauce was store bought in one of those containers that you peel the top off. Wife had the tater tots, they were crispy and good. Service was a bit out of sync as I received my food first and was nearly finished as others on the opposite side were just being served. Waitress was attentive though. They also serve beer. We were seated in the main hall and it is basically a large cafeteria. Good fish fry, not the best, but not the worst either. Cost was very reasonable at around $10 a dinner.

Ordered 12 wings and split the sauces 6 garlic parm and 6 buffalo ranch. Wings could have been cooked a little harder for me and had more sauce on the buffalo ranch wings especially. Had to get a side of buffalo ranch. Not much parm on the garlic parm wings but still pretty good dipped in buffalo ranch or regular ranch. The onion rings were really good and everything came out hot and fresh. Courtney was our server and was very attentive and took great care of us on our visit to Houston’s The Long Island (top shelf) was great and the amaretto sour was good as well. Menu has a lot of options and the board has daily specials for everyone. Definitely recommend this place for a nice chill evening.i will be back to explore more of the menu.
