Customer Reviews
Food is amazing and they are all so friendly. Love that they are in St.Albans
I was looking forward to trying this. The cashier said it would be a 35-40 minute wait to seat us which was fine. She said they had a party of 16 to wait on. Then she kept asking if I was sure l. I said yes that’s totally fine. Then she went out back, came back and said they’re only doing take out so we left.
The first time we went we knew they just opened and so we understood that they just needed some time to get their rhythm, but we went again and ugh. We ordered ahead and gave them 45 minutes before we showed up to pick up our order, then we ended up waiting another half hour. There were people upset all over the restaurant because they were waiting for so long. People were so upset that no one noticed that the food wasn’t even that good. I really want to see this place succeed, but if they don’t make some big changes they probably won’t be around for very long.
We ordered take out. The calamari was three rings and the weight of the box was fried broccoli. Never have experienced anything like this. Combo was ok and the lemongrass stir fry had so much cilantro it was so overpowering I couldn't eat it. We're so disappointed. I never had vietnamese fast food, didn't know it existed. Never again.
To go order - the chicken soup (pho ga)was very bland, broth watery and no real seasoning at all. Egg rolls ok but not much in the way of filling. In restaurant - BBQ chicken vermicelli (bun ga nuong) was good, Noodle stir fry (Hu Tieu Hoac Mi Xao) was 'alright' according to my husband but for me, looked sad on the plate - small pile of noodles, some veggies, not alot of beef. Tea was offered on arrival but took 20 mins to arrive - there was a problem getting hot water. Disappointed.
