First,I am half German and come from a different location. Well worth going out of the way to stop and eat. They nailed the pretzel, and dessert. They were outstanding. Well worth the price. The potato salad was very good, different from what we are use to. My son absolutely loved it. He really injoyed his meal. He said the gravy was very good. My meal was good. The cabbage and salad lacked vinegar and seasoning but that could be just me. When we are up that way again we will stop in again. I do wish they play German or Austria music

This was a genuinely fantastic German restaurant. Nestled in the heart of Lafayette, Georgia. Who knew this would be a Mecca for authentic German food. We've traveled in Germany and had. A German foreign exchange student and all of this food and beer rang true to those experiences. The service was exceptional and we will be back. Have already recommended it to friends.

Came here on a whim after getting rained out of hiking. This place is great! Amazing food and so affordable! I highly recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed. Absolutely delicious.

What a fantastic hidden gem!!!! The Riesen Bretzel is a MUST! Not sure what is in the liptauer chesse but its amazing! The beer cheese is made right for sure. We also got the kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes) they were good! The Brat Bun was well balanced and delicious. We also got a side if spatzel! So great! The beer was all really good as well. Server was prompt and kind! The sonnen apfel was scrumptious, never tried anything like that before! We had the best surprise learned that the apps are half off from 3-6! Bring cash so you don’t have to pay a service fee!
