Customer Reviews
Seat yourself if you're dining in. If you want something to go, use the counter service. The service was great and the food came out relatively quick. I liked my bbq baked potato. My child had a little cheeseburger. The waitress who took our order told us what the little cheeseburger came with and we took off what my child didn't want. There is a lot more dining in the back past the restroom and little arcade area. There was a wait to check out. **There is a fee for using a credit card.
Today my husband and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at the Dari Dip. It had been many many years since we visited. We had been very disappointed several times the reasoning. Let me tell you we were not disappointed today!! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding!!! We will definitely be back!
Dari Dip has been a part of my life forever pretty much forever. I was raised here in Lafayette, I can remember going to Dari dip after high school, and getting a cherry Sprite. And the best orange sherbet around!! Class of 88🎓 I also took my daughter to the Dari dip when she was younger, this was back before they had a sit in restaurant. She’s 36 😳 We loved it, such a hometown spot! And then one day we showed up, and the Dari dip had burned. I remember being so distraught I nearly cried! They Rebuilt a few years later, and it’s still the same Hometown spot! I went in today and ordered food, the sweet girl upfront was patient with me, I changed my order.. She was so nice. I saw people in there that I’ve not seen in a long time❤️I recently moved back to Lafayette after 14 years !
Fish had zero flavor not even salt. Hush puppies were undercooked were doughy in the middle plus they tasted terrible and were cold and were inedible.Pinto beans were mediocre Fried okra was acceptable. Portions of side dishes was small like for a child. Paid 15$ for a meal and a tea and I’m still hungry with a bad taste in my mouth. Only thing I’ve had besides this was the country fried steak which was very good.
Burgers and the shrimp platter are delicious. First time going and will definitely go back. Great friendly service as well
