Vic Sushi

Located in a small strip mall and has a very hectic feel. The service was disappointing. The woman at the counter did not greet me, but she greeted other customers and wasn’t helpful when I asked about popular rolls. So I had to look over the menu. She made ordering awkward. I ordered the Crazy Roll and a yellowtail scallion hand roll. The food was just okay. The hand roll was unraveling and the wrap was tough. I’ve had better sushi from here before that my son brought home, so the quality seems inconsistent. They offer specials, party trays, Thai options, and have a small dine in area that appears clean. Overall, between the uneven service and average food, I wasn’t impressed and I’m not sure I’d return.

I've never dined-in with Vic sushi in Ambler, but I order takeout from them about 1-2x per month. They're absolutely fantastic! They're every bit as good as the one on Sansom St. in Philly. They commonly substitute (at my request) belly-cuts for the regular cuts that I order, and sometimes they don't even up-charge for those. They're quick with to-go orders / friendly / there's (in my lunch & dinner to-go experiences) always more than one person who can ring me up... so I'm almost never waiting, even if the counter-person is on the phone taking an order. Everyone is friendly & greets you when you walk in... I can't say enough nice things about them.

I came here with my sister-in-law for lunch and we loved it! We started with salads and shared two rolls. Everything was delicious and the service was great and quick. I definitely will be back when we are back in town

Awesome food but they lie to you about how long it will take for your order when they are busy. Last time I gave them a pass when it took 1 hr 15 min for a 45 min wait. This time there are 14 other people standing here and people waiting in cars and I was told 1 hr on the phone. It is now 1 and a half hours and I am standing here In this crowded waiting area.

The sushi was extremely good, but some of the foods could be better like the beef negimaki. It was good service, it did take some time for the food to come out, but not too long. The atmosphere was excellent, one of the best sushi places I have been too, they had plenty of seating, and the restaurant was extremely clean. Overall I gave it 4 stars, it was a good restaurant, I would recommend going here!
