Varano Bakery

We heard Varano Bakery is the best in town so we stopped by today. We were mesmerized by all the delicious treats and picked out five to try. The Oreo bon bon and butter cookies were our favorites. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t stopped by Varano’s you’re missing out.

Me & my smoking hot girlfriend got a bagel across the street that was good, but I wanted a sweet treat for later. (Thanksgiving morning, mind you). I look out and see the open sign on inside the bakery window. Walked in, the young man was a G and mad nice. They were nearly out of rainbow cookies, they looked fire. We grabbed the last 4 and 2 black and white cookies. I just got home and dogged this bagel, my mouth was foaming for the cookie so i bit into it and it was pure heaven. This was the best black and white cookie ive ever had in my whole life. ill be going back every week. Great people, great service, wonderful pasteries and baked goods.

This is a great Italian bakery. How do I know? Because I’m an Italian from the Bronx. Usually I go to Sal and Doms on Allerton Ave but since my wife and I moved to Bethel we found this little hidden gem.

My wife wanted to pick up some cookies to bring to a family function. This is the closest Italian bakery to us in Brookfield so we tried them. The price was a little cheaper than I expected which was nice. The almond horseshoe was very good. All the cookies we ordered were delicious with the exception of the rainbow cookies. They did not have enough jelly, which made them a little dry. Other than that, loved this place.

Varano’s is our go to birthday cake bakery. Someone in the store suggested the chocolate mousse filling for cake a few years back and it really changes the game. We got a cake for my daughter’s birthday party recently and even the adults were coming back for seconds. Fantastic fantastic cakes. Plus you can pick up some delicious cookies or pastries when you go to get the cake! 10/10
