Amazing food and super friendly service. The owner greeted us and when he found out it was our first time there brought us some Lebanese chili to try while we looked at the menu and waited for our food. After a couple of minutes there was a plate of cookies in front of us. He said if you're sitting here you should be eating. My kind of guy! We've been telling everyone about Nour and can't wait to go back.

I’ve been to Nour a couple of times and I’m just getting around to reviewing it! Nour is such a welcome breath of fresh air in the Bethel area. It’s a smaller building, with some groceries and items for purchase, and a dining room for the restaurant. The owner always remembers our group and makes sure our orders are correct and timely, and entertains us while we wait with stories of his life. It’s a homey kind of vibe, and the food never disappoints. I always get the chicken kebab platter, because the chicken is the best I’ve tasted, amazingly seasoned and tender. It comes with hummus and pita as well, so it’s a meal that will last multiple servings. I think everything on the menu, including vegetarian options, is high quality and worth trying. This is a great local business to support!

Simon and Hassan dish out the best Lebanese food around. Tonight, Alan and I had the roasted lamb and the chicken shawarma. The Slow Roasted Whole Lamb, served boneless, over rice and covered in pistacchios, almonds, walnuts and raisins will melt in your mouth. The Chicken Shawarma, cooked to perfection, comes with rice or a salad. The aromatic and delicately seasoned, sides such as: cucumber and yogurt, Babà Ghanoush, spicy olives, humus, Zaatar, meat pie and falafel are delightful. To finish your meal with style, try the Lebanese coffee or cardamon tea with an assortment of cookies and baklava . Once you have finished eating, it is time to stock up on all of your favorite Mediterranean foods.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We traveled all the way from Rhode Island and are so grateful we were able to make a visit here. The food is outstanding—the flavors are authentic and truly reflect real Lebanese cuisine. Every bite reminded us of traditional homemade cooking. The hospitality was equally wonderful—warm, welcoming, and homey. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience genuine Lebanese flavors and heartfelt service!

Nour Lebanese Cuisine is such a gem! Total hole-in-the-wall in the best way. We found it by chance on a day drive from NJ to CT, and honestly the only downside is that it’s not closer to home. The hospitality was amazing — super warm and welcoming, and they gave us great food recommendations. As someone who’s obsessed with Mediterranean food, I can say this was some of the most authentic and flavorful I’ve had. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. Simple, traditional, and absolutely delicious from start to finish — apps, mains, and even the sweets. The food came out really quickly too. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality and portions—definitely a good value. Plus, they have a cute little market inside where we picked up some great groceries.
