Highest quality seafood with very reasonable pricing! I’ve gotten their steamed lobsters multiple times and recently got some oysters to shuck at home and they were fantastic.

We drove an over an hour to Community Shellfish and it was more than the effort! This off the beaten path gem is a foodie’s treasure trove. We devoured freshly prepared lobster rolls along with sliced raw milk cheese. Our second dinner in the trunk consist of five types of raw oysters from Maine, fisherman stew, smoked whitefish, Freshly baked focaccia, and more. if you can’t come in person, Bob Altman, the owner , will customize a gift box with conservas and delectable treats from all over the world just for you . We will certainly return with our family and friends!

The incredibly fresh seafood is just the tip of the iceberg. Love and dedication is felt in everything here - from the community atmosphere in the shop, to the delicious food, to any interaction with the lovely owners. Truly a gem!

We wee an hour away from home and did a google search for a seafood market as we live an hour away. It’s off the beaten path in an industrial park and so worth the trip! The staff was professional and knowledgeable. The gave some tips for our first time SUSHI making tomorrow and had the most amazing sushi grade tuna and scallops. The mussels were tender and sweet and by far the best I have had to date. They shucked oysters for me and my sons and have recipe tips and suggestions Besides fresh seafood they had amazing cheeses. Yum!

Wish you were in Maine at a small, intimate dockside hideaway w/live lobster fresh from the sea. Surprise, it’s in your backyard. Wonderfully tasty, sea kissed Lobster!
