We highly reccomend Vanquility to all nature and history lovers alike. Ellen is the perfect host! We appreciated the confortable and well equipped rooms and the lovely garden. So peaceful and quiet.We felt like at home. If you come, don't misss the Bedford D-day Memorial. It is amazing! Thank you Ellen!

We spent a wonderful week end at Vanquility. We loved the views,the garden, the peace that reigns there. Plenty of good hikes nearby. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the freshly baked, delicious bread. The views are spectacular. Loved watching the goats cross the bridge and the ducks sitting by the pond. They even allowed me to pet the goats before I left. So quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Vanquility Acres is a wonderful place to stay. Ellen and her husband go out of their way to make you comfortable and relaxed. All of their animals - goats, ducks and chickens add to the ambiance - homemade zucchini bread and a lovely fire pit put our stay over the top. Thank you Ellen for the wonderful hospitality

I had a last minute business trip and went onto the Bedford town website once realizing the local hotels left alot to be desired. This Inn was the only one that I could find (even on VRBO) that had wifi and reasonable rates. Their website even allows you to text to see if they have availability. Ellen was so kind and reserving was so simple.|Upon arrival, which was later in the evening, she showed me to my cottage, which was so much better than a hotel. Literally all the comforts of home, away from home. The cottage has a sunroom, kitchenette, full size refrigerator, wifi, 2 tv’s (family room, bedroom), daybed on family, plus sofa, dining table w/chairs, rocking and sitting chair - bedroom has a huge king bed, large dresser, robes for use, rocking chair and sitting chair, and what looks li
