Reba Farm

The cottage was cute and cozy with ample space to accomodate our party of 3. We were perfectly satisfied with the cottage and then we met Ron and Kathleen who turned out to be not only extremely knowledgeable but took us in as family thus allowing us to enjoy the comradery that was provided not only from them but other guests in a perfect setting. The riding experience, which was the main reason we went there, was wonderful in every aspect and Ron and Kathleen took their time, patiently giving everyone proper instruction for their safety and the ride. But a hint that we are giving, that nobody talked about much, was the WONDERFUL food that they prepared for us every morning for breakfast, it was exquisite. The place is amazing to experience horses but even if your not a horse person it is relaxing, provides a great view of Sharp Top and Vultures Roast from the cottage, amazing breakfast and dinners, but best of all people who care. We were treated like guests of the family, not strangers on their property.

I literally don’t make reviews, but my gosh these people here are horrible. While I was riding, the two instructors, who I believe are the owners (two older people), were snappy with me, sarcastic, and quite literally yelled at me in front of a whole group of people. They were rude to me because I wasn’t doing something “the right way”. Okay, that’s fine, then teach me how and show me instead of berating me. I am glad to see that others experienced the absurdity of these people as well. I have no idea how some are giving them 5 stars. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Do not give them your business. *This incident happened awhile ago, but I recently was thinking about what happened there again and it made me so mad I had to leave a review. They are the worst.
