So thankful that the warm weather took us on a walk past the Uncle’s Fixins food truck today! The Agua Fresca and loaded potatoes were beyond delicious. I can’t wait to return to try more items and I’m so glad their breakfast burritos can be found around town. The friendliest owners too! They were so lovely to chat with. Some of the best food we’ve had in Durango.
We got the elote with a pineapple orange agua fresca. They were both sooo good! The agua fresca was truly so fresh and refreshing. I would 10/10 highly recommend this place for a nice snack and just a good view of the river too!
The owners are awesome people to talk with, and the food is delicious and quick every single time! It's tucked behind the VFW overlooking the river so it makes for a great location to sit down outside and soak up a bit of Durango.
Check out the menu. Any option available on a great big potato. It’s filled with so many options. Every bite has the whole special meal in it. Like BBQ or veg. See the menu and look for future meal options to include family meals as well as ongoing Burrito’s available onsite and around town.
My go to soul spot! The chicken tortilla soup always warms my soul. Filling, delicious, and the perfect amount of spice! Highly recommend.
