ROLL eBike & paddle board

This is a great business idea and operation- super nice and thoughtful staff. They also have a beautiful retail store. The bikes are of high quality - even for bigger people- and there are so many fun things to do in and around the Durango area- renting an e-bike or SUP is a great way to see the area.

Based our two experiences, We highly recommend Roll Durango for e-bike rentals and more. Claire truly wants to put a smile on your face and is very patient in showing beginners the ins & outs of e-biking. AND, training time does not eat into your rental time… the clock begins only when you’re comfortable to ROLL!

Roll provided a great experience for our entire family. This was our first time on ebikes. They were great at getting us all set up and ready to explore the city. They gave instructions of how to operate the bikes, and they let us practice under their watch before taking off. They told us all about different possible routes and made sure we knew where to go. The bikes worked great. The city was beautiful. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a low-key, fun family activity.

We had such a good time. Our bike was a radwagon and it was very accommodating. No problem getting us up the tough climbs with plenty of grit. Recommend 100% plus a discount for locals. Can’t beat that!!

The combo package (biking, lunch, and SUP down the river) was the perfect way to spend an afternoon (5 hours) in Durango! The e-bikes have as much or as little assistance as you want (some assistance or boosting is nice up the hills). Going up to Fort Lewis College is nice and then you can fly down the hill on the way back down ha! Sitting along the river is very nice. I would recommend lunching near White Rabbit Books + Curiosities where they have some games to play outside, ice cream, and books of course! the paddle boarding is very calm and relaxing. No rapids whatsoever. You can do the paddle boarding sitting down the whole way if you prefer but it’s calm enough you can stand if you want! Only other tip is to wear sunscreen! The sun is stronger here than you may think 😅
