Excellent little spot for enjoying the beautiful Umpqua River. There is a small boat launch ramp here and two picnic tables. When I visited in August 2024 there were many ripe and delicious blackberries.
Needed a place to sleep and just past the elk viewing area eastbound. Almost missed it. Very secluded from the road. No one bothered us. Perfect. Slept the night, had breakfast & was on our way. Tables very clean.
Just an amazing view.
Pulled off here to find restrooms and stretch our legs. Beautiful spot. The river was mirror like.
The umpqua river is sooo beautiful . We stopped to fish and even caught 2.
