Schooner Inn Cafe

Absolutely fantastic, fresh, flaky and perfect Fish and Chips. Cole slaw was made fresh with a delicious base. Fries were perfect and they provided quite a few sauces and vinegars. Seating and view was tremendous right on the waterfront overlooking the Umpqua River at Reedport. Service was friendly and fast. The folks next to us raved about their sirloin burgers. Definitely will be back.

I couldn’t have picked a nicer day to sit out on the patio at the schooner Café overlooking the river. No difference if your inside or outside? It’s a fantastic and majestic view. The service was excellent my server was right on the spot to take my order and fill my drinks. The food was a little disappointing as the clam chowder was not as thick and rich as I would prefer. It was tasty and full of clams and potatoes. I had the fish and chips, and I would’ve liked the fish batter to be a little crisper, as it was soft, almost the point of being soggy. The fish itself was tasty and tender and flaky. If I’m in the area again, I certainly would give this place another try.

Very wonderful quiet place. Whether you eat inside or enjoy the tables outside near the river, the service was great and the food was excellent, one of the best places to eat on the coast. Stacy, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. We have already been back for lunch 😋....if you are going to be in Reedsport, put this restaurant on your list of places to go!

I couldn’t be happier with my hearty lunch with a nice view in a beautiful day. I had the special which included an half beefeater sandwich, a cup of clam chowder, and salad. All three were delicious. The salad had a good variety of vegetables and was flavorful. The staff was attentive and kind. Strongly recommend it.

Nice place for lunch. Fish and chips were great. Great views while dining.
