Tukwila Library

Tukwila library is definitely a nice place to go chill charge your phone use the bathroom check out some books read the newspaper and just relax that is until about 3 o’clock when all the kids get out of school and then the library is definitely more active and loud, but that’s great. I would rather see kids in a library being loud, then on the streets Where they can fall into the wrong crowd, and there is quite a few unhoused people that use the library and everyone of them are kind people and no one should be scared of homeless people. I know the media has vilified homelessness and criminalized it, but as a person who works every day with the unhoused Housed community, I know that sometimes the stigma and shame of being homeless is very real to some people and I love the library system f

Very pleasant building to sit and read for a few hours, but do employees really need to be so loud that the entire library can hear you? One of the workers was helping a guy with limited English to apply for a job or work on his resume and the entire time you could hear only the worker. The guy replied in a very mild tone, you could barely hear him but the employee... my ears are still ringing and I was't even close to them. It was clear that he didn't understand some questions or prompts for example that the password needs to be at least 8 symbols, so naturally the employee kept repeats -"8 symbols, 8 symbols, 8 symbols" over and over again. People were turning heads. Of course after, she went to her desk and complained (now in a normal voice) about the guy and how frustrating the experie

Very active, next to Foster School. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would gave 5 stars, with this. The children of the community so mean to the facilities, staff, and ppl using the facilities. The place, has all the nice equipment. Printer, copier, and open restrooms. The sad thing parents should not allow to make their children, abuse this facilities. Very convenient, pleasant and beautiful 😍 🤩 👌! It has WiFi, connection, visitor login, and Guest Services Information. This is 3x better than South Park! 3x better. Furthermore be careful of your belongings. Many homeless uses the facilities to enjoy free service. Remember it closes early, not like the weekdays. Mask is up to you!

The place is new very friendly crew it was crowded with kids but i was waiting 5mins for a computer it wasnt bad though. Lots of parking plenty of books to choose from. Love it so far

Nice library with modern interior with cool cohesive color theme that goes well with the neighborhood. Easy to park, open floor plan, rooms, and many computers. There are study zone, tech tutors, photocopying, and other services, just like most King County Library Systems traditional libraries.
