Tsunami Asian Restaurant

There were pro's and cons here but some of the cons would maybe make me not come back. Service was very friendly, the restaurant is nice and clean. The bathrooms are clean. There was seven of us - there was one misunderstanding about what one of us ordered but it was fixed quickly. The problem is it was fixed incorrectly and since we took it to go we didn't know until later one. We ordered the moon chicken and were given the shrimp (good thing for no allergies) but when they fixed it and gave us the chicken, it didn't come with any vegetables. Just rice, ground chicken and oil. Major fail here. The crab rangoon was good. The Tom Kha Gai was just okay. It wasn't very hot and wasn't very good. We brought it home to maybe fix it up. Best kept secret in town. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Wide variety of options, not just sushi. Very friendly staff, newly renovated and it’s clean. 10/10

I called to ask how busy they were as I have leukemia and can’t have a lot Of exposure to a lot of people, she said it was not busy at all and she could seat us far away from others. We arrived at 4 pm and there were only 2 other tables (4 people) there. We ordered, our food came out quickly, was hot and delicious. For appetizers we had the crab Rangoon and the chicken satay, both were excellent, at first I wasn’t sure about the peanut sauce as it was a bit heavy on the curry but 3 bites in and it was addictive! I had the Hunan chicken, (which I’d never had before) the amount of vegetables in it was impressive and everything was fresh. My husband had the chicken pad Thai which was excellent. Sushi is delicious!! I had the Chicken Taryaki and was very disappointed. The fried rice was under seasoned and over cooked. The shrimp tempura appetizer was good. Staff was very friendly bit did not check back often.

The staff was SO FRIENDLY!!! Very clean place, nice big menu, everything was delicious. The seaweed salad was amazing. If we were local this would definitely be a regular spot!
