Travelin' Smoke BBQ

One of the best BBQ places in the area! The hamburgers are amazing! Fried pickles and okra are great as well. I have had their brisket and pulled pork in the past, it was good as well. Definitely get your money's worth! Service was awesome as well.

I loved the brisket and the Apple Habanero is the perfect amount of sweet. The portions were super legit for a BBQ spot. The atmosphere was quiet and very small town. It was a really cool place. I would definitely eat there again in the future!

I Ordered over a hour before the kitchen closed..I received 2 containers of spoiled Macaroni & Cheese. I called back within 10min of getting the food home and got a voicemail..(the kitchen still had about 15min to be open). I was called back by the owner later that evening.. she explained to me that she took a bite & didn’t taste a problem. She also said she had put a new pan out that day ( that worried me, as they open at 11am- holding dairy products for almost 9 hrs) ..She then said I might be “unfamiliar with the seasonings they use”. When I asked “ so that’s how it’s supposed to taste? My only response was a refund. Not a bit of accountability in the conversation. I returned the food you could smell through a bag The next day. I reiterated the issue when I went inside & She still neede

Stopped through after lunch time on a Thursday, and it was awesome! Friendly staff, great food and they were accommodating for our seven month old crawling around our table. 10/10 will be back on all future trips. Great place staffed by good people!

"Big City Blues" - drive south on I-35 to Wellington, Ks. The Lady finds a great place to eat: Travelin Smoke BBQ, simply amazing!!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Wall to wall history rich displaying community pride. A vast menu with palette pleasing selections. The Lady chooses pulled BBQ pork, Coleslaw, French Fries, and Peach Cobbler as the grand finale... OMG! The pulled pork juicy and tender with a delightful hickory smoked sauce; the colesaw chopped not grated, & the FF are sliced potatoe chips fried crispy to perfection. Peach Cobbler!! Just the right amount of sweet balanced with flaky pie crust; Fantastic!
