El Amigazo

The one thing I always get to gauge a restaurant is the Chile Colorado, the simplest dish. While the Chile Colorado had good flavor and depth, it did lack any spice. The steak was also a bit overcooked, making it tough to chew, but overall it was pretty good. The rice and beans were flavorful and the queso was pretty good as well. Overall, it was good and worth another shot

I can see why their review rating is so high. Really great food (like, best salsa, ... and all the rest) Seriously great margaritas. And our wait staff tonight, ... The BEST!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Amigazo in Wellington. This gem of a restaurant was recommended by our neighbors, and it certainly lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles & yummy chips & salsa that set the stage for a wonderful meal. The food was fresh and delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing vibrant flavors that left us craving more. The highlight was undoubtedly the attentive service; our waiters were always on hand, ensuring we had everything we needed without us having to ask. What impressed me further were the reasonable prices, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Husband picked up supper tonight. Me and the girls got chori pollo. By far the NASTIEST for we have ever ate. Chicken was dry and toasty. Very little rice and NO cheese sauce. Staff is great and friendly. Food sucks.

We ordered for pick up. My son wanted chicken strips. For $7.25 he received 5 dino chicken nuggets and a mess of fries. McDonald's is cheaper and doesn't mislead in their advertisement. Not happy about the kids meal.
