Trails Regional Library Warrensburg Branch

Normally I have a great experience here, but the young woman in glasses who worked the left side counter the evening of 1/22/26 was very rude. She seemed annoyed about having to check my books out and do her job. After scanning my card, she shoved it back in front of me, and did the same with my book. Everyone else who works there has always been very nice, which is why I’m still giving it four stars.

Great experience! It was our first time visiting since moving to town. The boys love that they got their own dragon library cards to check out their books. All the ladies there were super helpful and sweet. They also gave us "Boredom Buster" bags! We used our nature scavenger hunt on the trails and we had so much fun!

I signed up for a Library card, found 2 great books and checked out in 15 min! They made it easy and have great recommendations, it was also very clean and had cool decorations!

Love all the programs they put on for kids! We go almost every Tuesday and some Thursday’s to the kid activities! Granny (Ms. Amy) is wonderful and always makes a point to learn the kids names. She normally does all story times and kids activity. They have a small kids play area with puzzles, coloring, and different themes. Definitely worth checking out for free activities for the kids!

LOCK YOUR CARS I wanted to give four stars but this library no longer feels like a safe haven to me. I started coming here around ten years ago. For a few years in my early twenties I would come here to use the wifi on my laptop. Food used to be fine and I was always respectful and clean. I never had to worry if I would be able to use the restroom or the water fountain before I left. Now, depending on the day, they close the off the restrooms as early as 4:30, when they close at 5. I got up early from the back of the building to get a drink before walking home in the heat, thinking I had plenty of time and had to walk home without water. They used to flicker the back lights 15 minutes before, which maintained a peaceful atmosphere. Now someone yells and hangs around the back making you fee
