Top Dog coffee Bar and cafe, Restaurant

Friday 1/9/26. So glad my hubby, furry loves, I patronized and enjoyed great coffee drinks and delicious breakfast. I hadn’t been in a VERY LONG WHILE. I must state it has been overhauled magnificently: The menu is available with some delicious added specials; beer on tap; homemade pastries, doggy treats; the coffee program is coming back in full swing, including pet adoptions; the iconic Top Dog mural is alive! The inside decor has been cleaned up and very nicely arranged; the backyard patio is clean and dreamier than before. Service was very welcoming. To your table. Nice and comfortable. Whether you are a Morro Bay local, visitor or tourist give Top Dog Cafe Bar & Restaurant a try. Yes there are other coffee bars surrounding. I’ll just call it out - I go to Nautical Bean on Parker St.

Go here! I ordered the top dog burrito. It was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. - It stuck together without being greasy - The potatoes were fresh - Made with BRISKET - Egg was fluffy and not overcooked - Peppers were mild and cooked well - Black beans were just the right amount without overpowering the burrito It came with a side of pico de gallo which was easily the best I have ever tasted. Somehow the onions didn’t sting and there was a fragrance in it that was out of this world. I’m not exaggerating either. I’ve had plenty of Mexican food having lived in California all my life. The lady who was cheffing it up in the kitchen obviously knows how to COOK🫶🫶🫶🫶

I've been patronizing this coffee and deli shop for 26 years. It's new owners are the best ever. The interior and exterior Garden spaces in the back in the sunshine are lovely and have a vintage Central Coast vibe. The coffee is outstanding. The restaurant the same. It's by far the best in downtown Morro Bay. By LorenzoM long time resident of the Central Coast and Morro Bay.

The most lovely place!!! And so affordable??? I love it! And the outside garden seating too is just lovely. The staff are so friendly. I got the lemon bar and drip coffee. A great place to sit and work (many outlets near seating) as well we lounge and chat (couches, chairs) and be in secluded seating in the quiet garden out back. A multifaceted and lovely café!

Adorable little coffee shop that's warm and inviting in Morro Bay. Staff are friendly and outgoing. We had a tea, carrot cake and a lemon square, all which were excellent! :)
