The four quesabirrias were so flavorful! There was a lot of meat in the tortilla. The green salsa had a kick and was went great with the birria.

Excellent food at a great price! We stopped in here on the way to the water. Everything was delicious and had a home-cooked flavor. We tried the carne asada fajitas, chorizo sopes, queso sopes, huevos rancheros. All menu items were available even though it was still fairly early when we arrived. The waitress was very sweet and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

El Sabor de Guerrero is a hidden gem in Morro Bay! The food is packed with flavor and made fresh to order. We tried the chicken torta sandwich and it was absolutely amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and served on soft, warm bread. Even the kids’ burger meal was a hit! It was cooked perfectly and came with fries that disappeared fast. The birria quesatacos and sope platillo are also must-tries if you’re in the mood for something more traditional. The staff is super friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Great portions, great prices, and seriously delicious food—this is a spot we’ll definitely be coming back to!

Without a doubt this is the best Mexican food in Morro Bay. The casa birria tacos are amazing and everything else we tried was really good. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great. Taco Tuesday with five to chose from for only $1.99 each. I wish I lived closer. I'd be there every day
