Tonno Gloucester

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Tonno's new upstairs space. We worked with Olivia and she was very helpful in organizing everything. All we had to do was decide on the food and minor details, she handled everything else including setting up the flowers we dropped off. They were flexible with a few of the additional requests we had. The waitstaff was very attentive and the newly renovated space had the perfect vibe for our event. All the guests loved the food and drinks, we would host again here in a heartbeat!

We were greeted with a smile and upbeat attitude and we were asked if our table was to our satisfaction. Our waiter Ezio was very knowledgeable about the menu and fully explained all the dishes we were interested in. The Shrimp appetizer he recommended was amazing! The pasta was fresh and the sausage was delicious. The risotto was cheesy and delicate with fresh asparagus. Wish we had room for dessert. Cappuccino and expresso were spot on . Give it a try!

Owen was fantastic.. explained the nuances of the food and just great host.. Food was very good.. Loved that we were able to customize entrees! One of the best in town no doubt

I have always loved Tonno's. Its a big part of our family and it has always been a great experience until yesterday. That is why it was so much of a surprise and after seeing how everything was handled our views have vastly changed. We looked past the rude interaction about showing up 20 minutes early for a reservation because we were happy to get a drink at the bar while we waited, we just wanted to get parking. Our server was great to start when a drink was not good, she hapilly brought something different. It got much worse from there. One meal was very incorrect and another dish was completely missing from the table. When this was brought to the staffs' attention they offered to bring the missing dish packaged to-go and I told them I could bring the other dish home at that point to tak

Had a great meal and experience! We ordered the olives and half dozen oysters for starters. Had the ribeye and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare and so flavorful. Also the veal was very tasty too. Highly recommend and I will be going back for sure!
