Toney's Grill and Seafood Market

We really wanted to like this restaurant. Wanted just a hamburger & fries. Sonic was next door and sonic has an excellent smash burger and onion rings. But this food was just awful, whomever is in the kitchen cooking obviously is just trying to pump out the food and they are killing it AS IN FRYING EVERY THING TO DEATH ! The pork chop was butterflied (why??) ruined a perfectly good pork chop and fried till it was like leather. Impossible to cut or eat. My burger was black and fried to death, till it was dry. The coleslaw was horrible, fried okra and Mac n cheese nothing special. Banana pudding with no bananas 😊 We didn’t even complain just paid and left. The waitress was nice, the food is crap ! They need a cook who wants to add a little love to the food.

Interesting building design on the outside, and money money everywhere inside. Was here for the Gumbo, but already ran out at 6PM. Wasn't that busy and disappointed. The food that I got was alright, decent and portions were generous.

Midday lunch on Sunday. We had the fried fish, it was AMAZING! It’s a very entertaining place with great atmosphere. Great service, everyone was so nice and friendly. Definitely will be stopping here again soon!

Very cool stop on our road trip! Great food and unique place

Ate here yesterday. Ordered the large crawfish and was so excited. The crawfish arrived and immediately looked off. Some were black and just looked dirty. Some were smashed. I ate one. The meat was not cooked all the way. Thought maybe it was just one. Ate a few more and realized either the crawfish was probably already dead when they cooked it. More than 3/4 if them were soft and squishy. And there was a faint smell of rotten once you got passed the seasoning smell. The waitress did take them off our bill. And she was nice about it. But walking out they had hung a sign that crawfish was out. I realized then that they probably knew they were bad and served them anyway. I've had an upset stomach all night. I love eating crawfish. Read the reviews on this place which is why we went
