The fried fish needed some seasoning. The fried green tomatoes were mostly breading and the tomatoes themselves very chewy. And, I'm not sure what that sweet stuff on top was. A bit surprised with the poke bowl, Iwas looking forward to authentic flavors of soy sauce and sesame oil. Instead, it came with wasabi and soy sauce. My favorite part of the meal was the coconut rice and greens. Outdoor seating is nice, but with today's sunshine, more coverings over the seating area would have been nice, especially since there is no indoor seating. Blessings!
Timoti's Seafood Shak has great fresh options for lunch. We ordered the fresh catch (drum fish) basket and the grouper Baja box. Both were very tasty and had fresh ingredients. They have patio picnic tables and a kids play area out back.
This is a great casual place to get delicious and simple seafood favorites. I'm in town with my wife and stepdaughter for the half marathon. We chose Timoti's based on some Google research. The only seating it outside, but there is cover in the event of rain. We all loved their hush puppies, cucumber salad and soup. Our sandwiches and plates were hearty and filling. I highly recommend trying this local spot if you're in the area.
If you're looking for expertly fried seafood with a batter that has subtle seasoning and isn't needlessly greasy and served with tartar that is perfection, even though I couldn't put my finger on why, served at picnic tables outside but shaded? Look no further. Also, and this is a big deal, they have thier own delicious pilsner and everyone knows a pilsner is the correct beer to pair with fried fish. Cheers!
Very relaxed great clam chowder and also really good lobster rolls. For vegetarians they even have some bowls with blackened tofu that is really good!
