The Addison On Amelia Island

We stayed at The Addison Bed and Breakfast for our babymoon and truly couldn’t recommend it more. Ron and Lisa, the owners, were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even helped make reservations for us before we arrived, which made everything feel so easy and thoughtful. Breakfast each morning was incredible, and as someone who is pregnant, I especially appreciated how attentive they were; making sure eggs were fully cooked and that I felt comfortable and cared for. They also gave wonderful recommendations around town that made our trip even better. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. What a lovely place to celebrate our anniversary!! It’s easy to find and walking distance to a ton of bars, restaurants and other activities (like mini golf, waterfront, duck pin bowling). We added the romance package which added beautiful roses, champagne, $50 toward dinner at 1 of 4 restaurants, a coach tour, and a cheese, nut and fruit tray. The breakfasts are NOT average ones. Between the presentation and the gourmet recipes… delicious. The hosts, Lisa and Ron went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. And Sandy gave kisses on our way in or out unless she was on squirrel duty. We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at the Addison on Amelia Island, Florida, was memorable due to the hospitality of Ron and Lisa, the owners and operators of this bed and breakfast. The room was clean with all the toiletries provided. The location was perfect. The marina, downtown area and restaurants were a short walk from the B and B. Lisa and Ron provided several brochures and advice on activities and tours. The breakfasts were gourmet and the happy hour in the evening was much appreciated.

The Addison was a wonderful place to stay. Both Ron and Lisa take pride in their lovely property, which was immaculate. Parking was easy as it was available on the street, in front of the Inn. We had a very peaceful and relaxing Thanksgiving visit. We purchased the Thanksgiving Day special (which was in addition to the nightly room rate). We started with a delicious breakfast and then went on a lovely Amelia Island River cruise. Upon returning to the property, a beautiful charcuterie was set up for all to enjoy. We had a champagne toast and then enjoyed an excellent Thanksgiving meal. The nightly happy hour was a great way to talk to other guests who were also enjoying their stays. Our second stay at The Addison was just as awesome as our first stay. Our room was nicely appointed with vintage style furnishings and a fireplace adding to the ambience. Breakfasts were both healthy and delicious. The location is within easy walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Ron & Lisa go above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & comfortable.
