Thomas County Public Library

Great little spot for studying. Came here after lunch just to unwind and get out of the heat. Read my book a little, answered some emails, and caught up on some Instagram. As an out-of-towner I can't say it's a destination spot but I'd go back. The customer service was excellent and friendly. They do have quiet rooms where you meet with your group or do an online training where you won't bother people in the rest of the library. I'll be back.

Super cool! Staff are awesome and very friendly, and most of the other patrons seem pretty respectful usually. They had a remodel recently that made everything a lot less homey, which isn't my favorite, but it's not too terrible. It kind of makes it look like a hotel lobby. Not a bad thing, but I do prefer the branches and their cozier vibe. They have a childrens section, a teens section, a heritage room, and a large adult fiction and non fiction section. Plenty of large print books too! They are a part of the PINES system, so if they don't have a book right away, they can order it from pretty much any library in Georgia. Pretty cool!!

This library has gone down hill exponentially, for context I take my grandsons to this branch because we hope for a certain level of excellence. However the teen department is just awful now, the blond girl who “runs” it, reeks of marijuana consistently, I’ve only ever seen her either hiding in her office where she peaks her head out or is sitting at a table doing arts and crafts by herself, I don’t know if management over that department changed recently but my grandsons loved it over the summer and now all of the programs just sound like they are for little kids, or just for girls! I’ve looked into the new programs and it’s all just arts and crafts with a movie day, there is obviously NO EFFORT put into these programs and I’m jus heavily disappointed!

It has a very large selection of media. Some of it is a bit dated, but it still is a good library.

Clean and quiet library with friendly, helpful staff. Great place for every age, and to enjoy the available events and opportunities. Seperate kids area with family restroom available.
