Climmie's H&M Bar-B-Que and Soul Food

My husband and I visited this wonderful “gem” after googling restaurants in the area and reading the reviews. We were not disappointed! The owner was noticed by me out in the line area greeting his customers who were also in line some he knew some he didn’t. That’s a great sign of good customer service and appreciation of his costumers! He got high points from me right from the start, I didn’t know at that point who he was. (I was hoping he was the owner or a great manager) Once at the counter to order the young lady was kind and helpful by inquiring if onion (allergic) was in what I wanted. The same guy came out to tell me what items were available for me. Once paying for our meal that’s when I saw an article identifying the owner! Now let’s talk about the food……..it was fantastic! Per

The wife and were exploring Georgia, and a search for peach cobbler led me here. A real Americana soul food joint with flair. Friendly people, fast service and outstandingly good food at a great price. The wife had ribs with mustard greens and green beans. She commented on the perfect seasoning and the texture. I tried the fried chicken with mac and cheese and green beans. The chicken was juicy, fell off the bone, and the batter was perfect. That mac and cheese was great also. While we were enjoying our meal in the screened-porch dining room, there was a constant flow of local customers that clearly come often. Do yourself a favor, and find this gem if you want to experience some Georgia soul.

Great food and friendly staff. After our vacation to the panhandle we made a special trip to Climmes after seeing a YouTube video review. The food is delicious, My favorite is the turkey wings and smoked hamburger steak with the tasty mac n cheese.Not many places that still cook with love. We would definitely recommend you try them out.

Visiting from London we wanted authentic BBQ and we weren’t disappointed. We got an extremely warm welcome and had a great chat with the owners. The food was 10/10 I can’t recommend this place more. An absolute must visit in Thomasville.

This is Thomasville's little secret BBQ. The staff are always so friendly and inviting to EVERYONE!! The food is authentic home cooking BBQ and its a local business that I love to support. Everything's great but the ribs, Mac and cheese and greens is my go too with a large sweet tea, YUM. The seating area is screened in so the bugs stay out when you eat or you can take it to go.
