The Works Café

I stopped by The Works Café to grab coffee before heading out to ski, and it was honestly the best decision! ☕️❄️ The food was super fresh and flavorful, exactly what I needed for energy on the mountain. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything felt made-to-order and high quality. Cozy atmosphere and great service. I’ll definitely be back before my next ski day!

We found this little cafe/sandwich/coffee house in Manchester on Main Street, coming back from Stratton ski resort. What a gem! We ordered bagels and sandwiches and smoothies. It was sooo flipping delicious. I got the bagels and lox. It was so big I thought they gave me a double! The chicken sandwich my grandson got was huge and delicious, he could not finish it. He had to take a break! The smoothies were absolutely the best. It tasted so fresh. I noticed on the walls were pictures of their local vendors. They support the local farmers. Maybe that’s why their food was so delicious! Definitely, I will be stopping by there again.

I’ve been coming here for MANY years and would always say this bagel shop is worthy of a 5 star review in the past. About two weeks ago I stopped in at 7 a.m. and ordered two bagels and a self serve drink. One person was in line ahead of us. 45 minutes later we still hadn’t received our food and neither had anyone else including a lady who ordered the day before to pick up at 7 which was now also an hour late. The shop was now filling up, small orders of food were coming out unbelievably slowly and everyone was very very low on patience. We waited in silence. When our two bagels came out, I politely asked if I could have a cup for the coffee. The employee rudely told me I should have already gotten one from the other cashier (I obviously didn’t). This place is so good.. the bagels are amazing. And toasted just right.. and their coffee is so so delicious.. always fast and friendly service.. I order from them at least 2 a week. lol

Really glad I stopped at The Works Cafe. I got the lemonade, mac and cheese, and the Cape Cod chicken salad sandwich. All three hit the spot. The sandwich had that perfect savory with a little sweet thing going on with cranberries and greens, and the bread was solid. Mac was creamy and comforting. The lemonade was super refreshing. The vibe was relaxed and cozy. I sat by the window with a leafy view and a quiet creek running alongside the building. It added something really peaceful. Staff was friendly, service was quick. Would definitely go back.
