The White House

This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Carson City. I've been meaning to check it out ever since they opened up a little over a year ago and I'm kicking myself for not stopping in sooner! Not only is the 1898 home that it resides in historic, filled with all kinds of antiques, photos and paintings to check out, it just just oozing with cool factor. Maybe because it was winter, cold and rainy when I came by with my wife but the place felt so warm and welcoming and of course, our bartender was super friendly and attentive. Heck, I even got to meet Travis, the owner of this place and found out that he used to live in this home and used his time here to fix it up into the White House that it is today. I love these historical places. It's an actual house from the 1800's. U sit where u like, although the upstairs was off limits. The bartender would come to the room & ask if we're good so he was aware of ppl in another room & checking on us. I will definitely go again. They do have outside sitting & more parking in the back.

Cozy atmosphere with amazing coffee and fresh pastries. The baristas were friendly and the service was quick. A perfect spot for catching up with friends or working remotely.

Definitely a younger, rowdier crowd. Lots of yelling in the parking lot at night, near-fights, and such. Nothing against the place, but as a neighbor— if I were to read in the next day’s paper that a carful of people rolled their car the night before— I’d think to myself, Yeah, that fits. And just flick on to the next page…

This is the place you have to know to know the owner is a cool dude and the stellar bartender trio that work here always exceed my expectations, when it comes to making great cocktails and entertaining their guests I can’t recommend a better spot 👍
