The Trestle House Inn

My wife and I journeyed to Edenton last December for the Candlelight Tour and stayed at the Trestle House Inn. Judging from the pictures, we had expected the home to be a bit more remote, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. Peter was very gracious - greeting us personally and offering us a glass of wine upon arrival. The gourmet breakfast - especially the baked apples - was excellent. The house and rooms were comfortable without being overly fussy. Our only complaint was that the room was somewhat chilly. We're looking forward to a return visit (but we'll ask Peter to turn up the heat!)
